ATELIER

atelier bietet mit seiner ausstellung von skulpturen, plastiken und wandbildern eine ungewöhnliche auswahl an unikaten. die ausgangsbasis für die individuell geformten skulpturen bildet das naturprodukt ton, ein altehrwürdiges material, das neu interpretiert wird. bisweilen wird die frei gearbeitete plastik durch sparsam eingesetzte glasurgestaltung ergänzt, die mit dem ausgangsstoff im tatsächlichen sinn verschmilzt. andere arbeiten wirken wiederum nur durch die unterschiedliche färbung der verwendeten tonmassen und stehen so in ihrer zurückgenommenheit für sich selbst. letztendlich unterliegt jede arbeit der metamorphose des feuers, beim brennen in der offenen flamme und erfährt so ihren eigenen gestaltungsprozeß. die lust sich an unkonventionellem zu erproben ist, vor dem hintergrund technischen und erfahrungsbedingten wissens, eines der grundthemen. das andere bildet der mensch und verweist auf ihn in seinen bezügen zu sich. 

Atelier offers an unusual repertory of sculptures and murals. The natural product clay is the base for the uniquely formed sculptures.Thus the time honored material will be interpretated in a new way. Sometimes the sculpture is completed with sparingly applied glace which is really fusing with the source material. Other sculptures appear only by the different colors of clay and are powerfull with their modesty. Finally every sculpture underlies the metamorphose of the fire, while burning in the unshielded flame. Thus will be created a singular design process. The issue is the enjoyment to prove the exceptional forms and ideas with the support of tecnical know how  and wide experience. The other  issue is the human being with his references to himself and the world.

If artistic works are an interpretation of reality, thought-provoking, stimulating, humorous and entertaining elements are to be found in the sculptures and objects of plastic art of atelier. The unique objects in limited edition draw their attractiveness from their unusual size and form. The different contents, forms and colorings are united in the pleasure of plumbing scopes and limits – giving room to the sensuous.
